One of the first PC games in which you speak to real AIs<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In \u00bbI, Chatbot: AISYLUM\u00ab, players find themselves in a closed retro-style asylum. They soon find out that seven disturbed chatbots are in there and one of them even thinks he is a human \u2013 the player! To escape from the AISYLUM and solve the game, the player needs to identify the mental issues of the other six chatbots by talking to them. Dialogues are not scripted but run by Large Language Model inference technology, so players can talk about anything they like and get meaningful (and sometimes funny) answers. The game just provides the characters with some background information. This way, the game provides a unique \u00bbtalking simulator\u00ab immersion, at the same time being a mystery sci fi exploration investigation experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our game is one of the first PC games in which players talk to actual AIs. The game is powered by Large Language Model Inference, the same technology which for example ChatGPT uses, but on the player\u2019s PC \u2013 no internet access is required, no data is sent into the net. As this is a quite new and compute-intensive technology, players need decent hardware (for example Ryzen 5 or Core i7 CPU, 12 GB RAM, or Nvidia RTX graphics card) for fluid gameplay experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The characters placed in the asylum differ each playthrough, they also have some unique habits which players can try to find out, and there are also some \u00bbunrequired side figures\u00ab to have a chat with, for example a coffee machine and a depressed intercom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an experimental, educational and small game, it it priced EUR8,99\/US$9,99.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
